The growing interest in wine culture is a good opportunity for everyone to get to know the Monterrei wineries and the production of their wines. The Ruta do Viño Monterrei is located in the southeast of the province of Ourense, bordering the border of Portugal. Its vineyards are structured in two subzones perfectly delimited by their orography: the valley of Monterrei and the slope of Monterrei. In this region we will find wineries that crown spectacular viewpoints in the mountain and others at the foot of the valley.
