The wines of the D.O. Monterrei travel to Cabo Ortegal

On 22 July, the whites and reds of Monterrei will be protagonists of a Wine Tunnel of the denomination to be held in the territory of Cabo Ortegal, specifically, in the town of Cariño.

The Local Social Municipal (Casa do Concello de Cariño) will host this new promotional action scheduled for 2022, in which more than thirty wines from 19 wineries registered in the denomination will be present. This activity, which will take place between 17 and 21 hours, is intended for the catering sector, hospitality, sommelier and distribution, as well as hospitality schools, among others.

During the same, attendees can discover the history and wine tradition of Monterrei, its soil and climatic peculiarities, grape varieties or wine typologies. In addition to knowing the product that is made in the denomination, by the hands of the wineries participating in this promotional initiative: Ladairo, Pazo das Tapias, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), Crego e Monaguillo, Terras do Cigarrón, Terrae Monterrei  (Adegas Terrae),  Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Abeledos, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo) and Manuel Vázquez Losada.
