The wines of the D.O. Monterrei travel to Bilbao

On May 9, the red and white wines of Monterrei will be the protagonists of a Wine Tunnel of the denomination to be held in Bilbao.

The Hotel Ercilla in Bilbao will host this new promotional action scheduled for 2022, in which more than thirty wines from 22 wineries registered in the denomination will be present. This activity, which will take place between 17 and 21 hours, is intended for the catering sector, hospitality, sommelier and distribution, as well as hospitality schools, among others.

During the same, attendees can discover the history and wine tradition of Monterrei, its soil and climatic peculiarities, grape varieties or wine typologies. In addition to knowing the product that is made in the denomination, by the hands of the wineries participating in this promotional initiative: Trasdovento, Pazo das Tapias, Abeledos, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Castro de Lobarzán, Crego e Monaguillo, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Manuel Vázquez Losada, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Quinta do Buble, Terrae Monterrei, Terras do Cigarrón and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.
