The wines of the D.O. Monterrei come to ‘Experience Verema Alicante’

On Monday 17 October, the reds and whites of the Monterrei Designation of Origin will be part of the ‘Experiencia Verema’ initiative, which will take place in Alicante.
This initiative is aimed at professionals of the HORECA channel (catering, hospitality, sommelier, distribution, importers, etc.), wine lovers and users of Verema. It will be held from 12 to 15 and 17 to 21 hours, and will bring the wines of Monterrei to the Alicante public.
In it, visitors can know, in situ, the elaborations of the following wineries registered in the Regulatory Council: Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, Crego e Monaguillo, Quinta do Buble, Terras do Cigarrón, Triay Adegas de Oímbra, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Abeledos, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú,Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Manuel Vázquez Losada and Manuel Regueiro García. Besides knowing the characteristics of the territory (soil, climate and varieties), history and wine heritage, or the typology of wines, among other issues.
The event, to be held at the Hotel Alicante Golf, is the third experience ‘Verema’ attended by the D.O. Monterrei in 2022, after the held in Valencia and Santander.
