On Tuesday, May 11, the wines with the Monterrei designation of origin will be present at the showroom ‘Vidivinos’ held in Alicante.
It will be the first time that the reds and whites of Monterrei are part of the showroom ‘Vidivinos’, intended for the professional sector and which aims to promote direct marketing between producers and distributors. This action will take place at the Hotel Alicante Golf, from 12 to 15 hours and from 17 to 21 hours, and will be present wines from 18 wineries of the denomination: Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Pazo das Tapias, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Crego e Monaguillo, Terras do Cigarrón, Triay Adegas de Oímbra, Terrae Monterrei, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo) and Manuel Vázquez Losada.
The participation in this initiative will strengthen the brand image, show first hand the wines of Monterrei to the Horeca and distribution channel of Alicante, expand and loyalty the sales chain, among other issues. During the day, in addition to offering the opportunity to discover in situ the product produced in the territory, attendees will be able to know the characteristics of soil and climate, grape varieties, wine typologies, culture and wine tradition of the denomination.
“This is the first time that we are part of this initiative, Vidivinos, which allows us to go directly to the distribution sector,” said the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Lara Da Silva, “an opportunity for them to know the product of our hand, to discover our singularities and what makes us different from the rest”.
