The wines of D.O. Monterrei travel to the Salon Gourmets 2025
The Monterrei Designation of Origin will participate, from 07 to 10 April in the 38th edition of the Gourmet Fair, International Fair for Food and Quality Drinks, which will take place in Madrid.
For the second consecutive year, C.R.D.O. Monterrei will attend under the auspices of the Diputación de Ourense and the INORDE, in a call created to promote Ourense as a quality enogastronomic destination, It will not only help to promote the province’s agri-food products but also facilitate new marketing channels for them.
In this joint space, the denomination of Monterrei will have its own space, where in addition to presenting the wine territory and its characteristics, you can know wines from the following wineries registered in the name: Trasdovento, Minius, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Vía Arxéntea, Crego e Monaguillo, Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Manuel Regueiro García (Serra de Alén), Manuel Vázquez Losada, Terra de Godello, Terras do Cigarrón and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.
On the other hand, wines from D.O. Monterrei will also be present in the following activities: shoowcooking organized by INORDE and Cociña Ourense (April 7, at 3.30 pm), ‘Reasonable similarities. Workshop of differentiation of species’ (April 7, at 3.45 pm), Wine tasting of the D.O. Monterrei (08 April, at 12 o’clock), OR.PA.GU. (08 April, at 13.30 hours) and ‘Degustation Dalle potato e bótalle grelos’ (09 April, at 16.45 hours).
“In the last edition attended more than 106,000 professionals, data that will most likely be exceeded in this 2025, since it is an event that gathered more than 1,900 exhibitors, which allows to consolidate it as one of the most exclusive in Europe”, recognizes Manuel Vázquez, president of the entity. “For this reason, we again bet to be present at this fair, which allows us to strengthen the Monterrei brand as well as make known the excellent wines that are made in our territory”.
