The wines of 22 wineries of the D.O. Monterrei will participate in Prowein

The Denomination of Origin Monterrei will be represented at the Prowein wine fair by the wines of 22 of the 27 wineries that make up the denomination.

A total of 38 wines, 23 white and 15 red, will show attendees this fair the specificities of this wine territory. The wineries that will be present in Prowein will be: Trasdovento, Pazo das Tapias, Abeledos, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Castro de Lobarzán, Crego e Monaguillo, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Manuel Vázquez Losada, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Quinta do Buble, Terrae Monterrei, Terras do Cigarrón and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.

This is the third occasion that the C.R.D.O. Monterrei will attend this wine forum, which in its last edition had more than 6,900 exhibitors, 61,500 visitors and 142 exhibiting countries. By participating in this initiative, which will be held from 15 to 17 May in the German city of Düsseldorf, the aim is to make the international market aware of the product produced in this name, since it is the largest meeting of the industry for professionals of import-export, distribution, retail-wholesale trade, trade and gastronomy.

“During this year we also want to intensify our external promotion, in order to promote the export of Monterrei wines,” says the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Lara Da Silva Rodríguez, “and attending this fair helps to promote a greater knowledge of our wines before the professional sector and show them, first hand, our soil and climatic characteristics, varieties and, of course, the typology of our whites and reds”.
