The wines of 14 wineries of the D.O. Monterrei will participate in Prowein

The Denomination of Origin Monterrei will be represented at the Prowein wine fair by the wines of 14 wineries registered in the denomination.

A total of 25 wines, 16 whites and 9 reds, will show attendees this fair the specificities of this wine territory. The wineries that will be present in Prowein will be: Pazo das Tapias, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Crego e Monaguillo, Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, Gargalo, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Quinta do Buble, Terrae Monterrei, Terras do Cigarrón and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.

This is the fourth time that the C.R.D.O. Monterrei will attend this forum, which in the last edition had more than 38,000 visitors, and 5,700 exhibitors from 62 countries. The purpose of being part of this initiative, which will take place from 19 to 21 March in Düsseldorf (Germany), is to show to the international market the product made in the name, since it is the main wine event for import and export companies, specialized trade, distribution and gastronomy.

“This year we want to continue the line of external promotion promoted in recent years, with the aim of not only boosting exports in emerging markets but also consolidating existing ones, as is the case of the German,” said the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago García. “The presence in events of these characteristics allows us to reinforce our brand image and promote a greater knowledge of Monterrei wines before the professional sector and teach them, first-hand, their peculiarities and characteristics”, concludes.
