The C.R.D.O. Monterrei has ratified for the ninth consecutive year its status as a permanent collaborator of Expourense, which allows it to be present in all promotional actions, fairs and events organized by the venue for this year 2024. The signing of this agreement, which took place this morning at the headquarters of the Regulatory Council located in Verín, was in charge of the president of the D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago García, and the managing director of the Expourense Foundation, Rogelio Martínez. The D.O. Monterrei is a collaborating entity of the Foundation since 2015 and this entails the participation of Monterrei in the different promotional actions that Expourense carries out throughout the year, especially in Portugal, in favour of the various cross-border cooperation agreements that the Foundation has with different entities in the Euroregion.
The C.R.D.O. of Monterrei will also be present in Xantar, the 25th International Exhibition of Gastronomic Tourism, which will take place between 24 and 27 October. This Regulatory Council will participate in the Wine Tunnel, an area in which visitors are presented with quality and native Galician varieties. In addition, the wines of Monterrei will pair the dishes made with quality products of Galicia, within the showcookings of Xantar, and will organize a tasting commented.
In addition to this direct presence, the promotion of Monterrei wines is present at all fairs and sporting events of the Expourense calendar through the projection of corporate videos on the giant screen of the pavilion of the enclosure. With the signing of the agreement, both organizations will also be able to develop commercial missions aimed at the promotion of wines and wine gastronomy in general, both in national territory and abroad.
Rogelio Martínez showed once again his satisfaction with the ratification of the agreement that demonstrates how the entities of the province of Ourense trust in the fair to publicize their products and services in this space of public-cooperationand internationalization opportunities for businesses.
Jonatás Gago also highlights his support for this firm, which allows “The Monterrei brand is present in a fairgrounds that hosts a large number of events throughout the year, in addition to publicizing wines produced in the territory, both nationally and internationally”.
