The Denomination of Origin Monterrei has concluded its participation in ‘Experience Verema Santander’, with a successful attendance of attendees to the space of the entity.
Throughout the day, more than eighty people came to the area of Monterrei to discover the typologies of wines, soil and climate characteristics, grape varieties, history and wine heritage; in addition to tasting the reds and whites of the following wineries of the denomination: Ladairo, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Crego e Monaguillo, Terras do Cigarrón, Triay, Terrae Monterrei, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Franco Basalo, Trasdovento, Manuel Vázquez Losada and Manuel Regueiro García (Serra de Alén).
Among those who visited the Monterrei space were members of Cenador de Amós, La Cartería, Distribuciones Mauro, La abuela Maruchi, Nortena Distribuciones, Ánfora, Tecvino, Fagonprisa, Sanz Calvo, Arrabal 18, Maset, La Mía, Mesón Termino, Vides Caliza, Liaño Sánchez, El Desván, Vinoteca La Ruta del Vino, Hoteles Santos or Exclusivas del Vino, among others.
“This is the first event in Verema in which the denomination participates in 2023, and it is an excellent opportunity for our product to both the final consumer and the distribution, hospitality or restaurant sector”, highlights the president of the Regulatory Council, Jonatás Gago.
