Asturias, next stop for D.O. Monterrei wines

The Designation of Origin Monterrei closes the month of August with a new promotional action, specifically with the realization of a Wine Tunnel in the Principality of Asturias, scheduled for next Monday 30 August.

The Restaurant La Torre will be the scene of this new initiative, in which the wines of 22 wineries registered in the denomination will participate. It will take place between 17 and 21 hours, and will present to the attendees the characteristics of the soil and climate, the wine tradition of the territory, different grape varieties or product typologies, among other issues.

It is intended for the distribution sector, HORECA channel, hotels and sommelier schools, among others; and in it all the required hygienic-sanitary measures will be fulfilled. During the four hours, those present will also be able to know the wines produced in the territory, by the hand of the wineries that are part of this action: Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), José Luis Gómez Ibáñez, Crego e Monaguillo, Quinta do Buble, Terras do Cigarrón, Triay Adegas de Oímbra, Terrae Monterrei, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Abeledos, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo) and Manuel Vázquez Losada.
