ABANCA and the Monterrei Designation of Origin Regulatory Council, once again, reinforce their commitment to reactivate the sector, essential for the economy of the province of Ourense, and thus respond to its challenges, largely marked by rising input costs and inflation.
The agreement was signed today in Verín by the zone director of ABANCA in Ourense East, María José López Rubal, and the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago García. Both representatives took advantage of the agreement to talk about the current situation of the sector.
The agreement establishes a series of credit formulas designed and developed specifically for winegrowers that reflects their commitment to sustainability. The document also includes a series of products and services that will allow new projects to be launched and improve the competitiveness of existing ones. In addition, to make this possible, ABANCA offers a series of personal loans with long repayment terms, the possibility of shortages and very competitive interests. They also specify a series of lines to promote the development of sustainable activities, solutions such as leasing furniture and different alternatives of financing with the ICO and national SGR, among others.
In order to face the challenges of the daily activity of winegrowers, the members of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei have different solutions, such as the specific credit policy for the sector, different formulae such as loan advances for harvests and subsidies, loans for campaign expenditure or advances for CAP aid. Through these services, winegrowers will be able to reduce the effects of higher input costs and higher input costs. Through the agreement they can also benefit from the advantages offered by the ABANCA Services Program, which allows savings in the payment of the most common banking services.
ABANCA offers winegrowers close proximity and experience of its specialized unit ABANCA Campo, which has its own managers specially trained in the needs of the field and with the ability to create specific products to address unforeseen situations or needs.
