More than 200 people have gathered in the showroom, held in A Coruña, by the Denomination of Origin Monterrei.
Throughout the day, sommeliers, representatives or owners of more than 50 hospitality establishments in the city and forty distribution companies, have approached the promotional action of the wine entity to know in situ the product made by the following wineries: Trasdovento, Pazo das Tapias, Abeledos, Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Castro de Lobarzán, Crego e Monaguillo, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva (Vinos Lara), Manuel Regueiro García (Serra de Alén), Manuel Vázquez Losada, Minius, Pazo de Valdeconde, Terras do Cigarrón y Triay.
Among those attending this showroom were members of establishments such as Arbore da Veira, Attica 21, restaurants El Refugio, A Mundiña, O Cadaval, A Cortiña de Lorbén, Divino, vinotecas Jaleo, O Ceo, O Carro o Eme, Cantón 23, Vermutería Martínez, Jardin de Árbore, La Sazón, Casa da Capilla, Lareira Gourmet, Ronda 2, Rutasyrestaurantes.com or Tasca A Cona Brava, among others.
In this activity dedicated to teaching the potential of Monterrei, it has also had a Vintage Tunnel of the 20 wineries participating in it, in order to show the storage capacity of denominational wines.
“Resounding success, both wineries participating and attending this event”, says the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago García, “which shows that A Coruña is a key city for Monterrei wines, and one of our star markets, as throughout the day there have been many people interested in discovering our wines and their peculiarities, providing an opportunity to open new marketing channels for our wineries”.
