The wines of 16 wineries of the D.O. Monterrei will be present in Prowein 2024

The Denomination of Origin Monterrei will again participate in the feira Prowein, which will take place from 10 to 12 March in the city of Düsseldorf (Germany).

On this occasion it will do so with the hand of 29 wines (18 white and 11 red) belonging to 16 wineries registered in the denomination. The wineries that will be present in Prowein will be: Pazo das Tapias, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Crego e Monaguillo, Fausto Rivero Pardo, Fragas do Lecer, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Quinta do Buble, Terras do Cigarrón and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.

This is the fifth time that the C.R.D.O. Monterrei will attend this wine fair, which last year had more than 49,000 visitors, from 141 countries, and 6,000 exhibitors. In this edition will be under the protection of the Axencia Galega da Calidade Alimentaria (AGACAL), along with the other Galician wine names, and under the format of Wine Tunnel will be presented not only the participating wines but also the wine territory, its soil-climatic peculiarities or typology of grapes, among other issues.

“Prowein is a key event in the D.O. Monterrei calendar, as it is a key fair for import companies, specialized trade, export, gastronomy and distribution”, highlights the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago García. “The presence in it, in addition to strengthening the brand image, allows us to consolidate our presence in Germany, one of the main markets for Monterrei wine”, concludes.
