The Denomination of Origin Monterrei has ended its participation in the ‘Experience Verema Alicante’, with a huge success of public attendance to the space of the entity.
Throughout the day, more than 120 attendees have visited the area of Monterrei to know the characteristics of the territory (soil, climate and varieties), history and wine heritage or the typology of wines, among other issues. They have also discovered the elaborations of the following wineries registered in the Regulatory Council: Ladairo, Pazo das Tapias, Gargalo, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Crego e Monaguillo, Terras do Cigarrón, Triay Adegas de Oímbra, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Manuel Vázquez Losada and Manuel Regueiro García (Serra de Alén).
Among those attending the Monterrei space are representatives of restaurants Monastrell, La Vid, Nou Racó, Els Amants, Pópuli Bistró, El Cup, Cosafina Wine & Co Gastrobar, Els Vents, Piripi, Nou Manolín, BonAmb, RqR Gastrobar, Grupo Terre, El Rincón del Faro, Oro Bianco, La Cuina, Noray, Tosca or the enoteca Vadevins, among others.
“This is the second promotional action we have carried out with Verema this year,” acknowledges the president of C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago, “since this show allows us to present our wines to the sectors of distribution, import, restoration, hospitality, as well as the final consumer”.
