The D.O. Monterrei at the Vidivinos Showroom in Santander

On Tuesday, June 8, the wines of the Designation of Origin Monterrei will participate in the showroom ‘Vidivinos’ that will take place in Santander.

This is the second time, after being present in Alicante, that Monterrei is part of the showroom ‘Vidivinos’. It will be held at the Gran Casino Sardinero, from 12 to 15 hours and from 17 to 21 hours, and is intended exclusively for the professional sector in order to promote direct marketing between distributors and producers. In this initiative will be present Vista previa(abre en una nueva pestaña)the reds and whites of 17 wineries of the denomination: Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Gargalo, Castro de Lobarzán, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Crego e Monaguillo, Terras do Cigarrón, Terrae Monterrei,  Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú,  Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo) and  Manuel Vázquez Losada.

Throughout the day, attendees will not only learn first-hand about the wines produced in Monterrei, but also receive information about the soil and climate characteristics of the territory, the different types of wine and grape varieties, as well as the history and wine tradition of the area.

“This is the second time in less than a month that we have participated in Vidivinos, and we hope it will be as fruitful as the previous one,” says the president of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Lara Da Silva, “since these are actions aimed exclusively at the professional public, which can help create synergies for our wineries”.
